Dennis Jones earned his stripes as a guitarist in Zac Harmon's band that took first place at the 2004 International Blues Challenge, then spent three years with The Bus Boys and shared bills with Buddy Guy, Johnny Winter, and Dick Dale. The Los Angeles bluesman channels B.B. King and Jimi Hendrix through a Stratocaster that can whisper one second and roar the next, backed by a power trio that hits like a freight train. He has released eight albums on his own Blue Rock Records and even wrote "Temporary Man" for the legendary Guitar Shorty. Fierce, funky, and impossible to sit still for, Dennis Jones brings two blistering sets to San Francisco. Grab your seats before both shows are gone.

Learn more about Dennis Jones

Born in Maryland and forged on the Los Angeles club circuit, Dennis Jones picked up the guitar at thirteen after falling for the records of B.B. King and Bobby Bland. Today his blend of blues, rock, and funk makes him a festival favorite from California to Europe. Armed with a Stratocaster, a soulful growl, and a road tested band, he turns every performance into a full body workout.
