Elvin Bishop
Experience world-class blues, dinner, and drinks — all in one intimate setting.
Elvin Bishop went into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2015 as a founding guitarist of the Paul Butterfield Blues Band, the Chicago group he joined in 1963 after a National Merit Scholarship took him to the University of Chicago to study physics. He was the band's only guitarist before Mike Bloomfield arrived, and when Bloomfield left, the record they cut was titled after Bishop's own nickname, Pigboy Crabshaw. In 1976 he put Mickey Thomas out front on Fooled Around and Fell in Love and took it to number three. The Blues Hall of Fame followed in 2016. Two shows, and a guitar player who has been at this since Kennedy was president.
