The Billie Holiday Project is a concert experience conceived and led by jazz vocalist and bandleader Stella Heath, with Neil Angelo Fontano as Musical Director, exploring the early recordings and cultural legacy of Billie Holiday. Rooted in Holiday's collaborations with Teddy Wilson, the program is performed with a dynamic ensemble of Bay Area musicians and has appeared at venues including SFJAZZ, the Presidio Theatre, and the Golden State Theatre since its 2019 debut. In 2026, the project releases For Billie, a full-length live studio album on Matterhorn Records.
