At the 2018 International Blues Challenge in Memphis, Kevin Burt swept the Solo/Duo division, taking first place, Best Solo/Duo Guitarist and the Lee Oskar Award for Best Harmonica Player. The Coralville, Iowa bluesman sings with deep, soulful warmth and plays guitar and harmonica with the same feel. His debut, Heartland and Soul on the Little Village Foundation label, earned a 2019 Blues Music Award nomination, and Mike Zito produced his Gulf Coast Records album Stone Crazy. In 2024 he honored one of his heroes with Thank You, Brother Bill: A Tribute to Bill Withers. Two nights, four sets, one of the warmest voices in the blues, in a 100-seat room. Grab your table early.
