Golden Gate Blues Society IBC Regional Challenge
Experience world-class blues, dinner, and drinks — all in one intimate setting.
The Blues Foundation's International Blues Challenge takes over Beale Street in Memphis every winter, and somebody has to decide who carries San Francisco into it. That decision gets made in this room. The Golden Gate Blues Society brings its shortlist to the Biscuits and Blues stage, each act plays a short set, and every ticket comes with a ballot, so part of the vote is yours. Last season the society sent Jeffrey James in the solo division and M'sippi Slide in the band division. Doors at four, music at five thirty, and by nine o'clock somebody in this room is going to Memphis.

The Golden Gate Blues Society runs this night as its qualifier for the Blues Foundation's International Blues Challenge in Memphis, and the winners in the solo and band divisions carry the society's name to Beale Street. Acts who want a slot write to the society at ibc@tggbs.org. Everyone else just needs a seat and a ballot.
