At just nineteen, Otto Junior was handpicked alongside a select group of young guitarists from around the world for Gibson's Generation Group, and the blues world is already paying attention. The Norwegian from Revetal took home the Norwegian Blues Union's Young Artist Scholarship in 2025 and came up through Little Steven's Blues School in Notodden. He discovered the blues at twelve and has since carried his fiery guitar and soulful voice from festival stages in Japan to clubs across Croatia. Now his first American run brings that old soul tone and young gun energy to San Francisco. Catch him up close before the rooms get much bigger.

Raised outside Tønsberg, Otto Junior started sitting in with Norwegian blues guitarists as a teenager, quickly graduating to stages alongside touring international artists. He fronts a tight trio with Jacob Theis on bass and Ola Grindbakken on drums, a band already road tested across Europe and Asia. Wise beyond his years and wired for the stage, Otto plays with the phrasing of a lifer and the hunger of someone just getting started.
