Jeffrey James played guitar for John Lee Hooker Jr. across the run that made Hooker a two time Grammy nominee. He laid down rhythm guitar on the 2004 debut Blues With A Vengeance, came back for the 2006 Telarc release Cold As Ice, and was still Hooker's touring guitarist in 2008 when All Odds Against Me drew a second nomination. Born Jeffrey James Horan, he built all of it out of the Bay Area, and Biscuits and Blues is where he brings it home. The trio format leaves nowhere to hide, three players and a lot of air, and that is exactly how he likes it. One show only, in a room this size. Seats go fast.

Jeffrey James Horan is a Bay Area guitarist and singer who earned his stripes in John Lee Hooker Jr.'s band, cutting rhythm guitar on Blues With A Vengeance and playing on the Telarc album Cold As Ice. He is a familiar face at Biscuits and Blues, where he also brings his Red, White and Blues tribute to the American guitar. In the trio setting he plays with more space and more nerve.
