BluesRockers featuring Grace Allen
Experience world-class blues, dinner, and drinks — all in one intimate setting.
SHOW · 6:30 PM · DOORS 5:15 PM
$15 - $30 Admission
Grace Allen owns the front of this stage. A church trained soprano out of small town Wisconsin, she can rasp her way through a gritty shuffle or hush the room with a ballad, channeling influences from Susan Tedeschi to Tina Turner. Behind her play Bay Area lifers whose résumés run from Billy Joel's touring sound crew to stages shared with Tommy Castro, Joe Louis Walker, Robert Cray, and John Lee Hooker. Together they call it Blues You Can Use: classic and modern blues with a rock backbone and a horn section that keeps the dance floor honest. One night, one party. Come hungry, leave dancing.

The lineup reads like a Bay Area session wall: Bill Weir on bass, Jim Crossley working a Hammond B3 through twin Leslies, Jeff Miller on guitar and slide, Greg Sickal on drums, and Kevin Galloway, a Pittsburg Hall of Fame inductee, on saxophones. Three of them sing, so the harmonies stack deep. Expect B.B. King, Buddy Guy, and Tommy Castro tunes built for a full dance floor.
