Elvin Bishop, a Rock & Roll and Blues Hall of Famer, first rose to fame as a founding member of the Paul Butterfield Blues Band, helping shape the sound of modern blues-rock in the 1960s. His fiery slide-guitar work and down-home humor made him a standout in Chicago’s vibrant blues scene before he ventured west to San Francisco, where he built a solo career defined by soul, grit, and joy.

With timeless hits like Fooled Around and Fell in Love, Bishop has spent over six decades blending blues, rock, and country into his own good-time groove. His storytelling, wit, and unmistakable guitar tone have earned him Grammy nominations and a lasting reputation as one of America’s most authentic and entertaining bluesmen.
